Rook Band?

Great. I keep posting about the same game. I guess that means I'm getting my money's worth out of it.

Since release, I've bought a new guitar strap for it, a drum throne and a mic stand. I'm getting pretty involved.

As for the GH3/RB guitar fun, it now sounds like I can blame Activision. Which is unfortunate, because it seems like it's out of Red Octane's hands, or at least that's how it appears. Where before with Red Octane suing The Ant Commandos, Activision wasn't as involved.

Either way, it's upsetting, but I still play the games. And I gave up on Unreal, sadly. A few hours in, I got to level 7 of 30 or so, and the level design is just so bland it's hard to go on. I commend Cliffy B for the wonderful game, but it doesn't hold up well, because it seems like it was designed with quantity over quality. I'll give Unreal II a shot, though. (If you can't tell, I got the Unreal Anthology pack a while ago for dirt cheap. Even though I already owned Unreal and Unreal Tournament.)

For Xmas, I'm looking forward to Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Time Crisis 4, and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Trilogy. Yes, I know they're all released, but buying everything day and date doesn't make sense, especially if my parents want to get me Xmas gifts and I already have every game I wanted.

P.S. There's a mixed blessing in the writer's strike. Because of a lack of TV right now, it means I have more time to play games. (Also, catch up on Lost.)
