Well. I've finished a good run of PC titles lately, most from The Orange Box . I put the finishing touches on Episode One, Episode Two, and Portal recently, then went back and ran through SiN Episodes: Emergence in a two-night play. I enjoyed them all. Short games that were very focused. They cost less, but they feel like they're worth more. I really enjoyed them all, and they all were different. Sadly, I wish Portal had more exterior levels because a majority of it feels like a tutorial. I haven't tried the user maps yet. As for SiN . Well. Ritual got bought out and merged into a casual games company, so I doubt I'll be seeing the next chapter anytime soon. It's depressing, really, because I have the original SiN game and expansion. I really like the series. Emergence really captured the original spirit quite well, although the Source engine overtones were hard to ignore. Now that those are all out of the way, I have time to finish up the VERY old Unreal ...

I'm sick of idiots. If you use my email address as your 'secondary' email address used in backups, I will delete your gmail account. I've already deleted 2 this week. Do I feel bad? No. Chris Gomez never even got into his account. Chris AMZ or whatever was actually responding to the lottery scam emails. So neither is a real loss. I see it as doing them a favor. Don't be a fuckup at life and I won't ruin yours. Oh, and if you want an email address, @live.com is available now instead of hotmail, if you want.

I'm trying out a blog post from Windows Live Writer. It seemed to detect my blog just fine, so I'll give it a shot. I'll always prefer a real program to web APIs any day. It's just so damn easy to accidentally hit the wrong button and send it, or go forward or backward a page and lose it all. Or it crashes a lot, too. (Yes, Firefox can do that, sometimes)   Anyway, I turned down buying Lego Stars: The Complete Saga because I want to finish a few more games first. One of which is Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee . I'm so damn close now. SO DAMN CLOSE. Really! I'm up to HSG: Almighty rank. I've got one tier left to clear out of items and two more flags left on the putting challenge. I won't bother going for the medals, though. The other one, as MySpace users might have noticed, is Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction .
