Well, after some talking I found out some stuff.
I can take my 20GB iPod (unopened) to a local Apple store (There's one at the Bellevue Square mall) and upgrade it to a 40GB iPod.
Of course, I can also sign up for the Apple Care Kit there for $60 so I get one battery replacement, plus the 40GB comes with a dock that the 20GB doesn't!
So for about $100 or so bucks I get a 40GB iPod that'll last a while!
On top of that I went through my mp3 collection with Media Monkey. I removed years, genres, albums and track numbers from the individual tracks and cleaned up the albums I did have. It looks much nicer. Now I have to apply REAL genres and ratings. Right now it's going through and scanning for the volume alteration thingies.
I am sooo ready for my iPod. Woooooooooooooo!
