I'm now hosted on Dreamhost. They provide a shitload more space and bandwidth, so I don't have to feel held back. We'll see if I take advantage of it. I have a few ideas.
Anyways, game related.
I finished God of War 2 and it was fucking amazing. I only beat it so fast because of how drawn I was to it. About 10 hours or so on normal. 87~ deaths. Definitely worth playing through again.
I also played a bit more of Burnout Dominator. It's growing on me. I don't miss crash mode at all. Maniac mode more than makes up for it.
Tonight I was showing my roommate games I liked, mainly for gameplay and level design. The ones I showed were Time Crisis: Crisis Zone, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing. They all have something special.
I also popped in a few games I haven't ever played, but own. Killzone. The frame rate needs work, but otherwise it looks pretty robust. I'll have to give it more time. FPS games aren't instantly gripping, sadly. You need a few cool guns and a variety of enemies first.
Gun, however, was awesome right from the start. For a PS2 game, it's fucking BEAUTIFUL. Controls great. Wonderful production. The tutorial was implemented in a slick style. I can see myself playing this a lot.
